There were fireworks, barefoot dancing, late-night tears, and a bonfire big enough to warm every guest twice over. Peyton + Jarrod's wedding was the midsummer party people dream about, with the kind of sheer joy that's impossible to fake.
As some of you may know, I'm pretty new to the photography industry. I've only been 'professional' for a couple years now. So, my first wedding last weekend was a BIG milestone for me and something I've been trying to accomplish for a long time! It couldn't have been more perfect that I got to celebrate with Peyton and Jarrod - their wedding made me fall more in love with photography and the art that can be created out of ordinary moments.
They got married a year ago, but they never had a wedding. So, this backyard party was thrown for their closest friends and family to simply celebrate! They pitched tents out at Jarrod's family farm, asked their friend to DJ, and had a TIME. I felt like part of the family by the end of the night. Just a joyous day with cool people. They didn't put on a show, they were the show. They couple has a beautiful daughter + a super fun extended family (if the dance floor was any indication), and they will no doubt have a gorgeous life together.
